Did Prophets Pray the Way Muslims Do?

Do you know that prophets used to pray the way Muslims do according to the Bible itself? Do you know that prophets used to prostrate themselves the way Muslims do in their prayers?

For example, the Bible tells us that Prophet Abraham used to prostrate himself in prayer. The Bible says: “Then Abram fell on his face [in worship], and God spoke with him, saying, “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And [as a result] you shall be the father of many nations. “No longer shall your name be Abram (exalted father), But your name shall be Abraham (father of a multitude); For I will make you the father of many nations.” (Genesis 17:3-5)

The Bible also tells us that Moses and Aaron used to prostrate themselves in prayer. The Bible says: “Then Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) and fell on their faces [before the Lord in prayer]. Then the glory and brilliance of the Lord appeared to them” (Numbers 20:6)

Moreover, the Bible informs us that Jesus himself used to prostrate himself in prayer as well. We read: And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible [that is, consistent with Your will], let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39)

Watch this video to make sure that the prophets of God, including Abraham, Moses, and Jesus himself, used to pray and prostrate themselves the way Muslims do!
